Terms and Conditions of Putting Down a Deposit on a Specific Puppy:

-If you are placing a deposit on a specific puppy that is 5 weeks of age or older, not on a place in line to pick before 5 weeks of age, we ask a $400 good faith nonrefundable deposit to hold your specific puppy. If you are placing a deposit on a specific puppy under 5 weeks of age, we ask a $200 deposit to hold your specific puppy. As always, your deposit goes towards the total of your puppy, not in addition to it. Your deposit may be paid via Venmo or PayPal. You are responsible for paying the PayPal fees if you choose to utilize PayPal.

-Once your $400 nonrefundable good faith deposit has been received, I will need a first and secondary contact method (Cell phone, home or work phone, and/or email) which I will include in my records book. I will record your name, contact information, and any delivery quotes or other pertinent information we have discussed. Once recorded, I will take a picture and send it to you as confirmation.

-I will send you individual pictures and/or videos that have been taken of your puppy as it developed, along with any group videos that are applicable. Going forward, you will receive the same amount of updates as a regular deposit holder. I will send out either a group and/or individual video and/or picture of your puppy on its birthday each week until it goes to your home.

Pickup Details:

-You are welcome to come to Ava to pick up your own puppy; if you do not plan to come out, and need your puppy delivered—we are here for you, but we need to get planning! By this time we already have a delivery route and schedule planned with our initial deposit holders, so if you cannot come get your puppy personally and require delivery services, let us know immediately so we can begin formulating a game plan!

Delivery Options:

-If we are delivering your puppy, you are responsible for meeting us at the place and time that we both agree to. Once your delivery date and time is chosen, it is unalterable. Any changes you would like to make to the delivery (aka if you wish to change to full delivery instead of partial delivery) are entirely up to our discretion, at our convenience, and will be an additional charge. As stated, we will do our absolute best to accommodate you, but as we often have multiple stops on these deliveries, changes to the plan may not be feasible.

-If you are picking up your own puppy, you are responsible for meeting us at the place and time that we both agree to. Once your pickup date and time is chosen, it is unalterable. Delivery time is very busy for us, as we are often driving halfway across the country, so changing the schedule may or may not be feasible if we will both be out of town on deliveries. Any changes you would like to make to your pickup date/time are entirely up to our discretion, at our convenience, and may result in an additional charge. We always strive to be as flexible as possible, but cannot make any guarantees.

-You are welcome to fly in to pick up your puppy, as this can often be the most cost effective option for those out of state, and we will meet you at the Springfield-Branson airport (code SGF) at no additional cost. If you choose to fly into a different airport, there will be a delivery fee if you are wanting us to meet you at the airport. You are of course welcome to rent a car and drive to Ava to pick up your puppy. Either way, we will need to work together on choosing your flight time to be sure one of us will be available to meet you with your puppy!

-If you require the use of a flight nanny you must let me know immediately, and we will need to check availability before placing your deposit. Flight nannies typically need to be booked 6-8 weeks in advance so there is no guarantee that they will be able to accommodate your puppy on 3 weeks notice. Your flight nanny fees will be paid directly to the flight nanny, and there could be additional cost depending on which airport we need to meet them at. When I receive the flight nanny quote, I will include a price breakdown, and whether or not there is any extra fee for meeting them. Failure to pay your flight nanny in a timely manner may result in losing your position on their schedule and thereby forfeiting your deposit.

Payment Details:

-If you are utilizing a flight nanny, you will have 24 hours after placing your initial deposit to pay the balance due on your puppy. Upon receiving your deposit, you will be sent a signed Bill of Sale for your assurance, which does not become active until your final payment is sent and received. The flight nanny is not able to accept payment on our behalf as we do not see them again once the puppy is dropped off. We ask that your balance is sent in a timely manner after making your decision because online payments through Venmo or PayPal for such large amounts can take up to a month to process. We only allow this option for specific puppy deposit holders who are utilizing a flight nanny.

-For all other types of delivery, whether you are coming to pick up your puppy, meeting us halfway, or we are delivering it all the way to you, the balance on your puppy will be due in full, in cash, at pickup/drop off.
