Why a Poovanese?
Known in some parts of the country as Havapoos, Havanoodles, or Havadoodles, Poovanese are a wonderful blend of Poodle and Havanese. If you want a dog who flat out adores you, is easy to train, and has a happy go lucky personality—I have the puppy for you!

Poovanese are hypoallergenic (as much as any dog can be!), laid back, loving, intelligent, loyal, friendly, and easy to train! As much as they love cuddling on the couch to watch a movie, they will enjoy a quick walk to get the mail just as much– as long as they are with you their life is complete! Poovanese are a moderately active breed, so they do require a short daily walk or fun game of fetch to maintain peak happiness. Poovanese get along great with everyone– dogs, other pets, kids, strange neighbors! They are just happy, happy dogs.

The only downside to the Poovanese breed is that they can have a low tolerance to being left alone for long periods of time (Because they love you so much! You’re just the best ever!), but this issue is easily overcome with training, and is completely overshadowed by all of their other wonderful traits. Since Poovanese are small, hypoallergenic, and do not bark often, they are ideal house pets, and especially good apartment dogs! Thanks to the combination of the silky, insulated coat of the Havanese ancestry, and the curly coat of the Poodle ancestry, these dogs can thrive in both hot and cold climates. These coats re-quire minimal grooming; a quick pass with a pinbrush or dematting comb a few times a week is all the coat care your pup will require.

My pups typically grow to be 10-12lbs, though there can be exceptions. Poovanese naturally love other animals. I socialize them from a young age with their aunts to be sure that they have positive experiences with other dogs from the start, which encourages their natural trait of always being ready and excited to meet new animals! I train my Poovanese puppies to ride in a puppy sling, as well as taking them on many car rides to prepare them for a life of accompanying you anywhere life takes you! I practice Early Neurological Stimulation on my puppies, which is scientifically proven to help both their tactile development and boost their immune systems.

I have several multi colored mamas, and I breed to a merle so that we get all kinds of fun colors! From Spotted, to Merle, to Parti, we have quite a fun variety of puppies. Poovanese live 13-15 years, and will fill your life with love, snuggles, and laughter!

These puppies are from Sailor + Mira! Their puppies are F2, and typically weigh 10-15lbs with the females being on the smaller side, and males being on the larger end of the scale.
